Find out if you have already had coronavirus in the past with our Antibody Home Test Kit.
The test uses a finger-prick blood sample you can take yourself in the comfort of your own home. We can then see whether your sample has the antibodies your body may produce in response to a COVID-19 infection.
This ELISA IgG antibody test has been shown to have a 99.4% specificity and 99% sensitivity rate if your take the test more than 14 days after COVID-19 symptoms appear.
You can complete your Coronavirus IgG Antibody Home Test in two ways:
1. At-home—Have the testing kit delivered to you where you can take your blood sample and return it to our lab via a supplied Royal Mail 1st Class envelope.
2. Via courier—If you are within the M25, then have one of our mobile medics visit your home to deliver the test kit. You can then either return your blood sample to our lab via a supplied Royal Mail 1st Class envelope, or organise your own courier to return the sample if you need a faster result.
Once your sample has been processed, you will then receive your results via email with certification from a doctor.
To get tested, buy your IgG Antibody Home Test Kit today and select the type of delivery you need at checkout.
How do I take a finger-prick blood sample myself?
Your test kit contains easy to follow instructions on how to take your own finger blood sample. However, if you want to see how it works then check out our tutorial video on the finger prick sampling process.
How and when will I get my results?
As soon as your sample is tested, we will email you a certificate with your results—a conclusive yes or no answer as to whether the COVID-19 antibodies were detected.
Your results will be ready within 1-2 days after arriving at our laboratory.
Will this test tell me if I currently have coronavirus or are infectious?
No, this test will only determine whether you have the antibodies your body may produce after a COVID-19 infection. This is best taken 7 days at minimum after you have displayed symptoms of the virus.
If you would like to check whether you currently have coronavirus, then please take our Coronavirus PCR Swab Test.
If you would like to check whether you are currently infectious with coronavirus, then please take our Coronavirus Rapid 15 Minute Antigen Test.
Can I still get coronavirus if I have antibodies?
It is likely that coronavirus antibodies do produce temporary immunity. However, it is not yet known how long that immunity may last as virus strains can also mutate. So it is recommended you continue to follow NHS guidelines on the coronavirus.
Also, it’s worth noting that not everyone who has coronavirus develops antibodies after the infection.
Is there an NHS discount?
Yes, for any NHS staff we are offering the test at less than cost to us. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
