The PCR Test - Current Infection
This is a swab test that detects the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus (covid-19) in your nose and throat. If you need a travel certificate to show you are not carrying the covid-19 virus - or want to know whether the symptoms that you or your loved ones are suffering from right now are being caused by coronavirus, then this is the test you need.Buy Now
The Antibody Test - Past Exposure
Our gold standard PHE approved laboratory test measures whether you have antibodies to SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus in your blood with 100% sensitivity if 14 days or more after the first symptoms of a covid-19 illness.Buy Now
We use a molecular assay (PCR) method which is greater than 99.9% accurate in detecting RNA from the coronavirus, so if SARS-CoV-2 is on the swab you send to us, we will find it.
Our test is produced by one of the largest medical diagnostics providers in the world who are currently the world leader in SARS-CoV-2 testing.
Why Does It Cost Money?
The NHS simply does not have the logistical or financial resources to test everyone who would benefit from knowing whether they have been infected by SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus.
We appreciate that NHS resources do need to be used in the most effective way and we want to support them where we can by providing an option for anyone who wishes to use their own resources in these extraordinary times.
We are proud to be able to help by making tests available to anyone who chooses to invest their personal resources in getting tested, relieving some of the pressure on our public services.
On an individual level it can make a big difference to yourself, those close to you, and the wider community, knowing whether you are infected by covid-19 and whether you are infectious to others and whether you have already had it in the past - perhaps without any symptoms at all.
We guarantee that purchasing a test from us does not in any way impact on the availability of testing for our NHS and other front-line staff - or any one else. Our tests are being performed entirely within spare capacity that Public Health England and the NHS have not yet called on. We will be delighted to go back to providing standard laboratory testing as soon there is no demand for SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus tests which we hope is soon. We commit to never charging more than is necessary to provide this service to you without any government funding.
What To Do If You're Unwell
Whether you get tested or not, and whether you find you are carrying coronavirus or not, always follow the government's advice. Look at https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/ for the most up to date information but go straight to https://111.nhs.uk/ if you are unwell.
Huge Discounts for Frontline NHS Staff
Contact us today at firstname.lastname@example.org for more details. We want to do what we can to help keep you safe. If you need a test get in touch. We will send it to you today and your results will be sent to you a few days later.
*Please note: We process all results in batches commencing the next morning after they arrive in our laboratory. This means your results will be back to you late in the evening of the day after your sample gets to our laboratory 95% of the time. For example, if you get your sample to us on Monday, you will receive your result by email sometime between 6pm and midnight on Tuesday. Please do not rely on the mail if timing is important to you as it is unreliable at present. Coming to a test location to have your swab taken or using a reliable courier service is a better way to ensure you have the best chance of getting your result the evening of the day after your swab is taken. Also please be aware that in up to 5% of cases, tests need to be re-run which is in an unavoidable reality with such a precise and sensitive laboratory test. Please allow for the possibility that it will be a day longer to get your results to you.
